I'm Jenn, a creative thinker and energetic communicator, I love telling stories that help people connect with a brand on a human level.

I’m the proud product of two psychoanalytic parents, so expressive language, the desire to connect, and an appreciation for human truths have always been at my core. I began my career on a traditional ad agency path, which was the best training before I went in-house. Agencies gave me clarity, taught me process, what a good brief looks like, the necessity of brand strategy, joys of concepting, and ins/outs of a creative pitch. I got to write for brands like Barbie, Adobe, Volkswagen, PayPal, Ghirardelli Chocolate, and Appleton Rum.

When I ventured in-house, I became very intentional about it and made a strategic decision to continue changing verticals, so that I could keep evolving and maintain a diverse portfolio of work. I learned about basketball and went on a Championship run with the Warriors. Got to work alongside my fellow food nuts at OpenTable. Took a quirky, passion-filled ride with Lyft. And then took a leap to help build a brand from scratch (a first) at Okta, a great security product that needed a personality.

After a decade in San Francisco, I moved to Los Angeles three years ago, but I’ll always be a New Yorker. I'm outspoken, lively, and at 5'3“ I casually walk much faster than most people around me. I'm also notorious for highly emotive facial expressions, which make for great laughs and bad poker games.

I’d love to connect! I have a theory about what sets great brands apart from forgettable ones—ask me about it.
